One of the goals of therapy is to help an individual improve or control symptoms that influence their well-being. Therapy is a safe and confidential place to talk about your problems or situations that are troubling. Therapy will provide and equip you with the tools to help you cope with your concerns.
I provide an empathetic environment for expression of thoughts and emotions, discuss behavior patterns, problem solve, and have strategies of conflict resolution. Techniques I use include: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also use Client-Centered Therapy, which is a humanistic approach, in which I help guide you to self-discovery and finding answers or solutions with the right amount of support.
