What Is Sexual Wellness Coaching?

Sex therapy is a clinical service that involves assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of sexual or mental health concerns.

Sexual wellness coaching and education:

  • Focus on learning, awareness,  and skill-building

  • Do not involve clinical documentation
  • Do not replace therapy
  • Center choice, consent, and  personal agency

Our groups are designed for growth and education, not clinical care.

Trauma History & Group Fit?

Is Sharing Traumatic Experiences Necessary?

Our programming is trauma-informed, meaning we prioritize safety, boundaries, pacing, and consent.

However, these groups are not trauma treatment. If you are currently experiencing significant distress, active trauma symptoms, or need individualized clinical support, therapy may be more appropriate before or alongside group participation.

We are happy to help you determine next steps or offer referrals.

Emotional Surprises in Sessions?

The facilitator has professional training and experience in sex therapy and sexual health education.

However, these services are intentionally offered outside of a clinical therapy relationship.

This distinction allows for:

  • Group-based learning
  • Educational flexibility
  • Broader accessibility

Clear ethical boundaries

Not Suitable for Everyone?

Emotional Surprises in Sessions?

Emotional Surprises in Sessions?

Strong emotions can arise during reflective or educational work, and that is normal.

Facilitators will:

  • Pause or ground the group when appropriate
  • Offer optional regulation tools
  • Encourage participants to seek individual support if needed

Group sessions will not shift into therapy or crisis intervention.

Confidentiality in Group?

Emotional Surprises in Sessions?

Confidentiality in Group?

These offerings may not be appropriate if you:

  • Are seeking diagnosis or treatment
  • Are in active crisis
  • Need individualized trauma processing
  • Expect therapy-style disclosure or intervention
  • Are uncomfortable with group learning environments

If you’re unsure, we encourage reaching out before enrolling.

Therapy vs. Coaching?

How do I know which services is right for me?

Confidentiality in Group?

While facilitators maintain professional discretion, group settings are not confidential in the same way therapy is.

Participants agree to:

  • Respect privacy
  • Not share others’ stories outside the group
  • Engage ethically and respectfully

Absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in group spaces.

Finding Your Fit

How do I know which services is right for me?

How do I know which services is right for me?

Clinical therapy services, if offered, are separate from coaching, education, and group programs and require a distinct intake process, informed consent, and clinical agreement.

Participation in group programs does not establish a therapy relationship.
